Location
Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the largest city in Australia. Located on Australia's east coast, the metropolis sits next to the Blue Mountains. Sydney is made up of 658 suburbs with an estimated population was 5,029,768.
The 2014 Mercer Quality of Living Survey ranks Sydney tenth in the world in terms of quality of living, making it one of the most livable cities. Ranked eleventh in the world for economic opportunity, Sydney has well-developed financial, manufacturing, and tourism sectors. Academic Calendar
UNSW recently changed their academic calendar, to 3 terms instead of 2.
TU students should enroll in January term + Term 1 OR August term + Term 3. During January or August terms, students take just one class from a specific list of offerings. During Terms 1 and 3 students take 3 classes from the university catalog.
