Program Description:

CGE will be awarding some Travel Grants of US$1,500 for students enrolled in TU Faculty-led Travel Courses. Faculty-led Travel Courses are offered at TU during the Spring or Fall semester that includes a group travel component during Spring Break, Spring Extension (May, after the end of the semester), Fall Break or Fall Extension (December, after the end of classes). The grant will be applied to the travel course fee.

Eligibility criteria: to be considered for a grant, students must - 
1) Be enrolled in the travel course
2) Meet TU Study Abroad requirements
3) Have financial need as determined by Student Financial Services.

Selection criteria:
1. Financial Need - as determined by Student Financial Services
2. Academic Need - as evaluated from application materials.
3. A certain amount of grants will be allocated to each course. 

Students should apply by November 19th. Students will know if they will receive the grant by December 1st -  when they need to commit to the Spring travel course. If students withdraw from the course they will no longer be eligible to receive the grant. Grant is not transferable to a different course/term. 

Students can apply for the grant before getting enrolled in the course, but they will only be approved or receive the grant if enrolled.
